Syrian army kills gunmen in Homs countryside

Syrian army units killed a number of gunmen in the countryside of Homs, the Syrian news agency reported Monday.
Some army units destroyed vehicles carrying weapons and ammunition in the countryside.
The forces, meanwhile, foiled an attempt by armed men of Nusra Front to infiltrate into safe areas in Daraa, a military source said.
