Syrian army troops have killed several militants in Damascus Countryside.
The army removed a number of landmines and improvised explosive devices planted by the militants in the area, the Syrian news agency reported on Tuesday.
More than 100,000 Syrians have lost their lives in the escalating conflict between forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and those opposed to his rule.
Syria's bloody internal conflict has destroyed entire neighborhoods and forced millions of people to leave their homes.
