Syrian army regains control over strategic camp in Aleppo

The Syrian army continued its advances in different parts of the Aleppo countryside, and took back control of a strategic Palestinian camp in the area in the Northeastern parts of the country.
The foreign-backed terrorists were pushed back from the Palestinian Handarat refugee camp in Aleppo and the army regained full control over the Tarshiheh district of the camp.
The sources close to the terrorist groups acknowledged the army's advances in Handarat refugee camp.
Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian army continued its advances in the Northern parts of Eastern Ghouta.
Elsewhere, the Syrian air force destroyed the positions of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Deir Ezzur in Eastern parts of the country.
Meantime, at least 10 militants were killed and 15 others injured after fierce clashes erupted between al-Nusra Front as well as the Free Syria Army (FSA) on one hand and ISIL on the other on Qalamoun barrens.
Security sources said that the clashes, which have reached the barrens of the town of Qara in Qalamoun, concentrate at Sheikh Ali and al-Zamrani crossings which border the outskirts of the Northeastern Lebanese town of Arsal.
The sources added that all kinds of weapons are being used and that the clashes started after al-Nusra Front and FSA in the region rejected to express allegiance to ISIL.
Also, the Syrian army continued its anti-terrorism operations in several provinces across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon the militant groups.
The Syrian army targeted the terrorist groups in Deir Ezzur, Raqqa, Lattakia, Idlib, Hamah, Homs and Daraa, killing or injuring a large number of militants.
Meantime, the army took full control of the Deir Ezzur military airport, killing tens of militants and injuring dozens more.
Also, over two hundred bodies of people massacred by ISIL Takfiri militants were found in a mass grave in Syria’s Deir Ezzur Province.
The 230 bodies were found by relatives of the victim’s who were all from the Sheitaat tribe, said the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The latest discovery brings the total of Sheitaat tribe members killed by Takfiri terrorists during their summer assault on Deir Ezzur to 900.
The UK-based group went on to say that a "vast majority" of the victims were civilians who were massacred in cold blood following the tribe’s rise up against ISIL.
The tribe members found the mass grave after returning to their villages following months of displacement caused by the ISIL militant’s atrocities.
According to the observatory, hundreds more of the Sheitaat tribe members are still missing.
The ISIL terrorists currently control some parts of Syria and Iraq. They have been committing heinous crimes in the captured areas, including mass executions and beheadings.
More than 200,000 people have died so far in the conflict in Syria, according to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Zeid al-Hussein.
Over 7.2 million Syrians have also become internally displaced due to the ongoing Syrian crisis, according to the UN.
