
Taliban militants executed at least eleven civilians in western Farah province of Afghanistan early Saturday, Khaama newspaper quoting local officials said.
Provincial governor spokeman, Jawid Afghan, said the civilians who were on their way to neigboring Iran when they were shot dead by Taliban militants in Posht-e-Koh district.
He said the civilians were looking to travel to Iran to find work as laborer and at least four others were also injured following the attack.
According to Jawid, the incident took place around 7:00 am local time and the victims were all residents of western Farah province.
This comes as Taliban militants executed at least 14 civilians, including women and children in western Ghor province of Afghanistan.
