Around 100,000 worshipers performed the first Friday prayers in the holy fasting month of Ramadan at Al Aqsa Mosque

Around 100,000 worshipers performed the first Friday prayers in the holy fasting month of Ramadan at Al Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinian Awqaf ministry said on Friday.
No problems were reported, Director General of the Awqaf ministry in Al Quds Sheikh Azzam al Khatib said, stressing that all preparations were taken to face any problem.
Eyewitnesses said the Israeli occupation forces banned men aged less than 45 from reaching the mosque.
