Tunisia has applied international law and diplomatic norms in the extradition of leader in Fajr Libya militia Walid al Qalib to Libyan authorities, Tunisian Justice Minister Mohamed Saleh bin Isa.
In press statements on Monday, the Tunisian minister called for stopping bids by some people, who reject handing over of Qalib "without being familiar with the issue from all aspects."
The move was necessary to secure the release of abducted Tunisian diplomats in Libya, he said.
On Thursday, the Tunisian Court of Appeals decided to hand over Al Qalib temporarily to his country's authorities.
