
Tunisia voiced its complete understanding regarding the airstrikes launched by Saudi Arabia in Yemen in coordination of the 10-country coalition, said Assistant Tunisian Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Tohamy Abdouly.
What is taking place in Yemen affects the security of the Gulf region, he added, noting that the military intervention aims to restore Yemen's stability and security.
In statements to Tunisia Africa Press Agency, Abdouly, who is currently in Sharm el Sheikh to attend the Arab foreign ministers' preparatory meeting, said that this important event will top the agenda of the meeting, according to the developments which took place today at dawn.
Tunisia officially asked the 26th session of the Arab Summit to include the article of the decision related to maintaining the Arab national security.
