Police troops are currently exchanging fire with a person believed to be the second suspect in the terrorist attack on two tourist hotels in the Tunisian resort city of Sousse, a security source said Friday.
Special security and army units arrived at the scene to carry the body of the terrorist who was killed during the attack, the source added.
Kalashnikov and a hand grenade were seized by the security forces, according to the source.
A wide-scale security operation has been launched in al Kantaoui district in search for any other terrorist elements that might have entered the tourist resort, the source asserted.
