A National Dialogue session is scheduled for Monday to consider Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki’s message to President of Nidaa Tounes Beji Caid Essebssi on the formation of a new government within one week, said Deputy Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) Mouldi Jendoubi.
The meeting was called by the Quartet sponsoring the national dialogue, he told Tunis Afrique Presse.
Jendoubi highlighted the need to take a definite decision on the matter and reminded of the agreement reached at the last session of the dialogue, held on November 10, under which the president to be elected will task the winner in legislative elections with forming a cabinet.
