Two UAE relief planes carrying emergency aid items from the Emirates Red Crescent have arrived at Mitiga International Airport, in the Libyan capital Tripoli.
The planes arrived today equipped with food, medical equipment and supplies to support the Government of National Accord in Tripoli.
The assistance is part of UAE efforts to lend a helping hand to its brothers in Libya, alleviate the human suffering being witnessed there and strengthen the ability of affected parties to face the situation in which they find themselves.
The aid will be distributed in Libyan hospitals to enhance the capabilities of the country's health institutions which are facing major humanitarian and healthcare challenges due to a lack of essential materials and medical equipment.
