UAE condemns terrorist blast in Beirut

The UAE on Friday strongly condemned the terrorist car bomb explosion in Lebanese capital Beirut, which killed and wounded scores of people, the official news agency 'WAM' reported. ''The UAE condemns this terrorist act which targeted unity and stability of Lebanon and contravenes human values,'' a foreign ministry statement affirmed, calling on the "Lebanese political leaders to deny the chance to those who want to tamper with Lebanon's security and stability and protect it from the consequences of this criminal act which aims to plunge Lebanon into vicious circles of chaos and violence".
