
U.A.E. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MoFA, on Sunday hosted a farewell reception for Gerard Michels, outgoing Ambassador of the Netherlands, Joao de Mendonca Lima Neto, outgoing Ambassador of Brazil, and outgoing Ambassador of Sweden Max Bjuhr, at InterContinental Hotel - Abu Dhabi, to mark the end of their tenures in U.A.E.
Ambassador Shihab Al Fahim, Director of Protocol at MoFA, in his remarks at the reception, praised the outgoing ambassadors for their role in enhancing and consolidating their countries' relations with U.A.E. during their tenures.
Mr. Al Fahim also wished for success for the ambassadors in their future assignments.
On their parts, the ambassadors expressed their thanks and appreciation for U.A.E. officials, in particular those at MoFA, for their cooperation which contributed positively to the success of their mission as ambassadors to U.A.E.
They hailed the wise policy followed by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the outstanding relations between their countries and U.A.E. in different spheres.
Senior MoFA officials, Arab and foreign diplomats accredited to U.A.E. attended the reception.
