UAE participates in Arab Mineral Conference

UAE will participate in the12th Arab Conference for Mineral Resources and the 4th Consultative meeting of the Ministers of the Arab Mineral Recourses and the exhibition under the theme ''Mining Investment.. Sustainable Development and Diversification of Income Sources''. The Three-day Conference, held under the Patronage of Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir, will begin in Khartoum tomorrow and a number of Arab Ministers of mineral wealth and Arab and foreign institutions, bodies concerned with the mining and investment sector will take part in the event. Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy will head the UAE delegation in the conference, which includes a number of officials from the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources in the Ministry and Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation.
