Qalioubia Police Chief Maj. General Saeed Shalaby said on Saturday that the security bodies in the governorate are ready to maintain safety during celebrations planned to be held on Monday marking the fifth anniversary of the January 25 revolution.
Speaking to MENA, Shalaby said that the security has been beefed up in Qalioubia to secure vital institutions and police stations in the governorate.
The senior officer said that the Egyptians are well aware of the terrorist threats facing the county, adding any violation would be firmly addressed.
