Security authorities in Al-Awwamiya killed two suspects on Wednesday including Khaled Abdulkareem Hasan Al-Labbad, who was on the government’s wanted list, and 16-year-old Mohammad Habib Al-Manasif. Three suspects were injured. They were Al-Labbad’s older brother Badr, his cousin Abdullah, who is also the brother of incarcerated Hussien Al-Rabi’a who was arrested earlier, and Hasan Zahri. Police raided a house in the Al-Qatif governorate where the suspect was staying, according to information the police received. The man and a few other men with him opened fire at the police and the latter returned fire, killing two of them and injuring the others, while one person was arrested. Spokesman for the Ministry of Interior called on those in the wanted list to turn themselves in and warned those who provide them with shelter or any assistance that they would be held accountable.
