
The Yemeni Cabinet condemned the storming of the UAE's Embassy in Sana'a by the Houthis.
The government described this act as heinous, noting that it contradicts with diplomatic values, laws and international legislation atop of which Geneva agreement for diplomatic relations for the year 1961.
In a statement quoted by the Yemeni News Agency, the Yemeni legitimate Cabinet said that this action aims at harming the respectful cordial relations between Yemen and the UAE.
The UAE has a leading role in establishing development projects and infrastructure, the statement read, adding that the Gulf country supports Yemen and its people in all domains.
