Yemeni government spokesman Rageh Badi lauded on Wednesday a decision by the Egyptian authorities to facilitate entry of the Yemeni people to Egypt.
Speaking to MENA, Badi said the decision was taken after contacts between the Yemeni and Egyptian governments in the past few weeks.
Yemeni people, aged under 18 years and over 45 years, will be able to enter Egypt without visas, he said.
The facilities include also Yemeni people wishing to study or receive medical treatment in Egypt, he added.
Flights between Cairo and Aden are expected to operate in the coming few days, Badi said.
Yemen has been engulfed in conflicts between Houthis and the government forces since early 2015.
In late March, a Saudi-led coalition of Arab countries began launching airstrikes against Houthi positions in Yemen at the request of the Yemeni president
