
Representatives of the General People's Congress, its allies and other political components have signed a document including a solution to the South Issue. Yemeni President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Had, who attended the signing of the solution document, spoke highly of efforts exerted by all parties to reach a consensus on the document, lauding the move as a victory for all Yemeni people. He added that the signing of the document mainly aimed to get Yemen out of its crises, pointing out that the major obstacle to successfully conclude the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) was overcome. The president pointed out that the consensus and unity of Yemenis helped overcome all difficulties and challenges and maintain Yemen's security, stability and unity. A number of Yemeni political components had signed the document on the South issue in December, which includes a federal state with power-sharing between the north and south.
