Deputy Secretary General of Yemeni National Dialogue Conference (NDC) Yasser Abdullah Ali al Raini said on Monday that Yemen provided a model for many countries under the effect of the Arab awakening. Commenting on the dialogue talks that will determine the faith of Yemen as the key step of the transition period, Al Raini told AA that "Having faced with war, poverty and chaos, it is now time for Yemeni people to listen to each other." Al Raini noted that the dialogue talks commencing on March 18 in Yemeni capital of Sana'a proved more successful than estimated and progress in a more planned way and more proper atmosphere. "Yemen sets an example for all Arab countries. Considering the reactions, the process proved successful. As the Yemeni nation, we went all lengths at the civil uprising which began in 2011. Now it is time for us to listen to each other," he stated. Launched by the efforts of United Nations (UN) and Gulf Coopeartion Council (GCC), the transition process turns out those people wrong who see the differences of political groups as an obstacle, noted Al Raini. Al Raini stressed that the dialogue talks run ahead of the schedule thanks to the constructive approach of political and ethnic groups, saying "We might conclude the talks two months earlier than planned if we progress in this harmony and rhythm. Yemen will hopefully go to the polls with a mass of voters who reached consensus and mutual understanding." Pointing out the Yemeni people as the only garantor of the dialogue process, Al Raini added that "The people shape our new political, legal and economic structure, as the only garantor. They have the final say also in 2014 elections."
