Fahad Saeed Al Menhali, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the UAE, yesterday visited the families of the two UAE martyrs who died while participating in the Saudi-led Arab coalition 'Operation Restoring Hope' supporting the legitimate government in Yemen.
The ambassador conveyed the condolences of Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi, to the families of Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and Abdullah Mohammed Saeed Al Yamahi, in the Emirate of Fujairah, and his deep appreciation for their sacrifices and heroic roles, praying to Allah Almighty to rest the martyrs' souls in Paradise and grant solace to their families.
Al Menhali also praised the UAE for its brotherly, heroic and honorable stances standing in solidarity with the people of Yemen and for its sacrifices in supporting the legitimacy and restoring security and stability to the liberated Yemeni provinces.
The fathers of both martyrs expressed their appreciation for the Yemeni Ambassador's visit, stressing that their sons' sacrifices are a source of pride and honour for them and their homeland. They added that these sacrifices represent an embodiment of their cohesive relationship with the wise leadership, as well as a response to the call of duty to stand with their Yemeni brothers against injustice, rebel forces, and terrorism.
