
Yemeni parties concluded their session on Friday after discussing ways to a viable way end to the crisis.
Representatives from the Yemeni government, Ansar Allah group, and the General People's Congress party exchanged views and assessed overall progress under the supervision of UN Envoy to Yemen Ismael Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
Kuwait news agency (KUNA) reported that the parties are expected to resume their talks tomorrow. Last night, they discussed principles and mechanisms on a number of issues on the agenda.
The meetings focused on restoration of state institutions and the resumption of political dialogue and military and security issues, as well as proposals for the release of 50 percent of prisoners and detainees before the holy month of Ramadan and mechanisms to implement it and the criteria for selecting initial lists, KUNA reported.
