
Yemeni and popular resistance forces controlled large parts of Khabb wa ash Sha'af District of Al Jawf Governorate, Al Jawf media center said on Sunday.
The forces also clashed with Houthis and pro-former president Ali Abdullah Saleh militias in which the forces managed to regain control on large parts of the area including the international road linking Sanaa with Saudi Arabia.
The forces also besieged the militias in Aqaba and seized a tank and heavy and medium weapons. The forces also arrested a number of militants.
Meanwhile, a mine exploded at a car affiliated to a resistance leader, killing one of his assistants.
In the meantime, a leader at the resistance in Lahij Governorate was injured when armed men attacked his motorcade in Al Houta city. Three of his bodyguards including an officer were killed in the attack.
