Yemeni Vice Premier and Foreign Minister Abdulmalek al-Mikhlafi affirmed that all current consultations in Kuwait were based on the UN Security Council resolutions, especially resolution 2216, the Gulf initiative and the outcome of national dialogue.
Mikhlafi, who leads the Yemeni government's delegation to Kuwait's consultations, asserted on his Twitter page that the Yemeni legitimacy, the UN envoy and the countries sponsoring the dialogue were all committed to these bases.
There is no change in stances of the Yemeni government or the international community, he reaffirmed.
He slammed as baseless news reports claiming that pressures were being exercised on the Yemeni delegation to change its stance.
