
Yemeni President Abdrabu Mansour Hadi sent a cable of condolences on Wednesday to the families of the victims of a suicide bomb attack in the central Ibb Governorate and to Governor Yahya Al-Eryani
"Such terrorist attracts prove that committers have neither religious principles nor human values," the President said in the cable, adding that the terrorists have hatred and evil toward the homeland and its citizens that could destroy humanity.
He called for concerted efforts to fight terrorism that he deemed as a "malignant lesion" and eliminate it, ordering the government to provide care for the injured.
He emphasized that those who committed this crime and other crimes would be brought to justice and punished.
A suicide bomber blew himself up this morning in a religious celebration, organized by Houthis at the Cultural Center in Ibb, some 194 kilometers south Sanaa, to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday; the bombing killed at least 33 people and wounded 48 others.
