Yemeni Vice President Khaled Bahah will participate in the opening session of the Geneva peace talks on Sunday chaired by United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Yemen’s UN delegate Khaled al Yamany said.
The Yemeni government has submitted a list of its representatives participating in the event to the office of the UN chief to settle any confusion, Yamany told the Saudi edition of the international newspaper “Asharq Al Awsat”.
The Yemeni envoy said the outlook of the Geneva talks were negative, adding that there were sides inciting Houthis to damage Yemen, in an implicit reference to Iran.
