Yemen's Permanent Representative to the Arab League (AL) Mohamed el Haisami called on Tuesday for a unified Arab front to face the critical conditions and exceptional developments in the Arab region, especially in Yemen, Syria, Libya and Iraq.
In his speech to the Arab permanent delegates' meeting held earlier in the day, Haisami said the current situation requires the unity of the Arab people to maintain security and stability of their countries.
He also lauded a stance taken by Saudi Arabia to host a dialogue session over Yemen, expressing hope that the 26th session of the Arab Summit, to be held here on Saturday and Sunday, would come up with decisions in favor of Yemen.
Haisami underlined that the Palestinian issue should be high on the Arab Summit agenda in light of the recurrent Israeli violations.
He also thanked the Arab League for its efforts to achieve peace in Yemen and support the ongoing dialogue there.
