
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab described his three-day visit of France, which he starts today, as important and aims to follow up French investment projects in Egypt that had been agreed upon.
In pre-departure statements Monday, Mahlab said Egyptian-French relations are at their best especially after a successful summit meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
The premier said he will tackle with the French side means to push forward French investments in Egypt and discuss developing the tram system in Alexandria. An agreement will be signed in the education and training field, he said.
Mahlab is accompanied by the ministers of electricity, industry, transport and investment and the head of the Suez Canal Authority.
