Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab stressed on Monday the government's keenness on following up the implementation of projects that were agreed upon during Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) which was held in March.
"The projects will have positive impacts on the economic and social status of citizens," Mahlab said during his meeting with the Middle East regional director of Siemens.
The meeting came as part of the Cabinet's follow-up of the projects of electricity plants, on which agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed with Siemens during the EEDC.
Mahlab noted that the projects will contribute to providing electricity sources to meet the demands of operating major industrial projects as well as for housing and commercial consumption.
