Mechanisms of reclaimed land distribution before Sisi soon

Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Salah Helal has said proposals have been prepared for reclaimed land distribution plan which will be reviewed by a cabinet meeting ahead of presenting it to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi pending final approval.

Ten thousand feddans of reclaimed land in Old Farafra were visited by the minister along with Governor of New Valley on Thursday.

Three villages will be built to accommodate 2500 families to achieve stability for the new region, the minister said, adding that government service offices, schools and a health center will also be constructed to serve the villages.

Distribution of land will be first among youths of the governorate to guarantee social adaptation, he concluded.
