The Arab League (AL) has urged the international community and active parties to force Israel to implement the international legitimacy resolutions relevant to Al Quds (occupied East Jerusalem).
In a statement on the 48th anniversary of Al Quds occupation, the AL said Israel should be forced to stop its settlement activities and Judization of the Holy City and accept the two-state solution.
Israel must withdraw from the Arab lands occupied since June 5, 1967 and the Palestinians must have a viable independent state with Al Quds as its capital, the statement added.
Any Israeli measures in the occupied city are null and void according to the international legitimacy resolutions, the AL said.
Christian and Islamic holy sites in the occupied city are "red lines" that should not be trespassed, according to the statement.
Israel has annexed Al Quds on June 8, 1967, three days after it occupied the rest of Palestinian territories in violation to the international legitimacy resolutions, the AL concluded.
