China, Iran presidents discuss Iranian nuclear talks

Chinese President Xi Jinping held here today a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani where they the developments of the nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 group.

Following the meeting, Rohani said that he focused. during his talks with Xi Jinping on the role that China can play in process of nuclear talks between Iran and the six powers.

He pointed out that the meeting also dealt with ways to combat terrorism and extremism, and discussed ways to promote economic and cultural relations between Tehran and Beijing in addition to the latest developments on the regional scene.

Chinese President Xi Jinping said that his country stands ready to work with relevant parties to hammer out a fair, balanced and all-win deal on the Iranian nuclear issue.
