Four Israelis were arrested in suspicion of carrying out security-related acts against Palestinians, the Israeli police said on Monday.
Three of the four suspects were arrested on April 5, with the fourth suspect arrested on Monday, police spokeswoman Luba Samri said in a statement.
A gag order had been instilled on the details of their arrest and the investigations. It was partially removed on Monday, with few details released by the Israeli police.
Two of the suspects are minors, aged 16 and 17, and they are suspected of carrying out "security attacks" against Palestinians. Another suspect, an adult, was arrested for allegedly "setting up on fire a Palestinian car," according to Samri. He is also suspected of conspiring to commit a crime and being membership in an illegal group.
The four were remanded until April 18, with further details about the suspicions against them remain under gag order.
Israeli authorities have increased its efforts to prosecute Jewish far-right activists, after Jewish attackers set on fire a home in the Palestinian village of Duma in the West Bank, resulting in the deaths of an 18-months-old baby and his parents.
In January, two Jewish extremists were indicted for their alleged involvement in the attack. They have been charged with three counts of murder and attempted murder.
The acts against Palestinians with which the Jewish suspects are associated are known as "price tag" attacks, in which Jewish extremists try to damage Palestinian property as well as religious establishments, like churches and mosques.
