Israeli occupation forces allowed Monday dozens of Gazan families to visit their relatives in Eshel desert prison in southern Israel.
Spokeswoman of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) Soheir Zaqout said that 38 of the prisoners' relatives, including six children, headed to the prison via Erez to visit 42 detainees.
Every Monday, Palestinian families visit their detained relatives in coordination with the ICRC.
The visit coincides with the permanent sit-in of the prisoners' families in the occupied West Bank, Gaza and al Quds outside the Red Cross headquarters calling for releasing their relatives.
Up to 7,000 Palestinians are detained in Israeli prisons, including 300 from the Gaza Strip.
