Israeli forces on Thursday demolished a number of Palestinian-owned residential structures in the village of Kherbet Tana, southeast of Nablus, according to local sources.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in northern West Bank, told WAFA that an Israeli military force accompanied by bulldozers broke into the village, and proceeded to demolish residential structures and tents housing local Palestinian Bedouins.
Daghlas said this was the first time in less than 50 days Israel demolishes residencies in the village.
The village is located in Area C in the West Bank, under complete Israeli military and civil control, and has seen repeated property demolitions by Israeli forces.
During the first two months of 2016, at least 321 Palestinian-owned structures, including 88 homes, were destroyed by Israeli authorities in the West Bank, according to the UN monitoring group OCHA.
