Israel Detains 3 Palestinians, Summons Youth in West Bank

Israeli forces overnight and early Saturday detained three Palestinians and summoned a youth from the West Bank districts of Jenin and Bethlehem, said security sources.

Palestinian local, Abdullah al-Sahhu, was detained at an Israeli flying military checkpoint at the entrance of Qabatiya town, south of Jenin.

This came several hours after two other Palestinians were detained late Friday night at the same checkpoint.

The detainees were identified as Mahmoud I. Zakarna and Qassem A. Zakarna.

Meanwhile, forces summoned a Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his house in Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem city.

Shadi Badawna, 24, was handed a notice ordering him to appear before Israeli intelligence in Gush Etzion detention and interrogation center.
