
Israeli forces Sunday detained seven Palestinians from across the West Bank districts, as well as summoned eight others for interrogation, according to local and security sources.
In the Hebron area, forces detained six Palestinians, including three minors and a soccer player.
In Hebron’s city, armed Israeli soldiers detained an athlete identified as Sami al-Da’oor, 28, a soccer player from the Gaza Strip, Shadi al-Rajbi and his father, Yasin.
coordinator of the popular committee against settlements and the Apartheid Wall, Mohammad Awad, said forces stormed Hebron’s town of Beit Ummar to the north, and detained three minors after raiding and searching their families’ homes. They were identified as M’otaz Bahar, 17, Ma’moun 'Alqam, and his brother Mahmoud.
Meanwhile, locals Shadi Bahar, 27, and Laith al-'Alami, 20, were handed summons ordering them to appear before the Israeli intelligence for questioning.
Three other locals were summoned for interrogation during a predawn military raid into Bethlehem’s al-Khader town. They were identified as Hazem Salah, 40, Mohammed Khader Mousa, 25, and Mohammed Rebhi Mousa, 30.
Forces also summoned local 21-year-old Khaled Taqatqa, from the nearby town of Beit Fajjar, and 40-year-old Jalal al-Haremi, from Bethlehem city, to appear for interrogation, after raiding and searching their homes.
In Ramallah’s village of Deit Ghassaneh, forces raided and wreaked havoc into the home of Wahbi Dawoud, before handing him a summon to appear before intelligence.
