Israel punishes Palestinian State financially because of joining ICC

Speaker of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) Salim Zaanoun on Sunday said that Israel exercised retaliatory punishment on the State of Palestine because of joining the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Zaanoun, who started today a five-day visit to Algeria, added that Israel has frozen the transfer of tax collected on behalf of the Palestinian Authority (PA) since January 1, after signing the Treaty of Rome.
The PA official said that his current visit to Algeria would help the consolidation of visions for issues of mutual concern between Palestine and Algeria.
