Jewish extremists at dawn Sunday vandalized Jerusalem's Dormition Abbey and wrote anti-Christian graffiti on the walls and doors of the building, sources at the Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem said.
The Benedictine monestary abutting the walls of Jerusalem's Old City has been the target of repeated anti-Christian vandalism in February 2015.
The vandals wrote anti-Christian slogans on the edifice's walls and doors using red and black markers. These included: "Christians to Hell", "Death to the heathen Christians the enemies of Israel".
The Jewish extremists' vandalism is part of recurrent assaults on the churches and monasteries in Jerusalem and at a time when Jewish groups are calling for expelling Christians from the holy city.
