A Palestinian young man was wounded in confrontations that erupted early Monday between a group of Palestinian youth and hundreds of settlers who stormed the city of Nablus to perform religious rituals.
The clashes took place in the vicinity of Joseph's Tomb on Amman Street, rights activist Zeid Abu Omar told MENA correspondent.
Israeli troops fired rubber bullets and tear gas at the Palestinian youth, injuring Issa Hashash, 18, the activist said.
Hashash was moved to Rafidiya Government Hospital, he added.
