A 24-year-old Israeli settler died of her wounds Tuesday morning, less than a day after being stabbed in an attack in the West Bank settlement of Beit Horon.
Officials at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem said that the 24 year old, later identified as Shlomit Krigman, had arrived at the hospital in critical condition Monday and that doctors had hoped to stabilize her condition before she died Tuesday morning.
Another Israeli woman was also moderately wounded in the same attack.
Israel claimed that two Palestinian assailants carried out the attack. Israeli police said the two were shot and killed by security guards while trying to flee the scene.
