
A tripartite security meeting was held last night in Ras Al Naqoura in Southern Lebanon under the chairmanship of UNIFIL Chief Gen. Luciano Portolano in presence of military delegations from the Lebanese and Israeli armies.
The meeting focused on issues relevant to the implementation of UN Security Council resolution 1701 and the latest incidents in South of Litani and the Israeli breaches made in this regard.
The Lebanese side shed light on the Israeli violations made via sea, land and air, highlighting the role of the Lebanese Army in fighting terrorism, state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.
It called for putting terms to such violations, adding that that the Lebanese government has already announced its respect for the Blue Line.
