Egypt's Mufti condemns bombing of 3 Sunni mosques in Iraq, urges Iraqis to unite

Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam condemned the bombing of three Sunni mosques in Babel governorate in Iraq late Monday.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Mufti asserted that these attacks are carried out by extremist elements who are seeking to incite sedition among Muslims.
He said such terrorists are seeking to weaken the state and drag Iraq into the quagmire of civil war.
Allam urged the Iraqi people to stand united to protect their country against the schemes of such terrorists.
