
Kuwait’s Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah strongly condemned the terrorist attack against a children's park in the Pakistani city of Lahore Sunday, killing 56 people, KUNA news agency reported.
In a cable to Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain, Sheikh Sabah said this terrorist attack violated all principles of Islam and humanity, killing innocent people and targeting security and stability of Pakistan.
He extended deepest condolences for Hussain, families of the victims and the Pakistani people. He also wished speedy recovery for the wounded, estimated at over 120 people.
Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also extended his condolences to Hussain on the victims of the attack in Lahore, wishing rapid recovery for the injured.
Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable.
