
Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed offered Sunday his condolences to the families of the ill-fated EgyptAir MS804 flight, crashed off the Egyptian shores on Thursday.
Rashed arrived to a hotel, near Cairo International Airport, where the families of the victims were staying, to offer them solace.
Deputy EgyptAir Holding Company CEO Ahmed Adel, chairman of Egypt Air Airlines Hesham Elnahas, and his deputy Hisham el Deeb received the tourism minister upon his arrival to the hotel.
The EgyptAir senior leaders were present at the hotel for the third time amid the company's keenness to be n continuous contact with the families, along with updating them with the latest developments about the search and rescue operations.
EgyptAir flight MS804 crashed with 56 passengers and 10 crew on board on Thursday night at the Mediterranean while en route from Paris to Cairo. The wreckage of the plane was found north of Alexandria.
