Mary Lou Retton says today's gymnasts are doing moves well beyond the ones she did when she dazzled the world at the 1984 Olympics. Retton, 44, told Parade magazine she can still do flips despite a hip replacement, but would likely be left in the dust at the London Games. "They're doing such difficult things," said Retton. "The routines you saw me do 30 years ago are very low-level compared to what they're doing today." Retton says she and her daughters will occasionally watch videos of her 1984 performances. "They're very proud of me," she said. "They'll go on YouTube and watch the old footage and make fun of my hair and leotard, so they bring me back down to Earth real quick."
