Adelaide United made it two wins from two at the start of the new A-League season after easing past Western Sydney Wanderers 1-0. Argentinian Jeronimo Neumann struck the only goal of the game in the 69th minute as Adelaide moved to the top of the standings with six points. Neumann had seen his tame 65th-minute penalty saved but the former Barnsley forward went from villain to hero soon after when he dinked home a fine chip following a counter-attack to give Adelaide the victory.
