Second-placed Atletico Mineiro dropped points for the second time in four days as they were beaten 2-1 at Flamengo in the Campeonato Brasileiro on Wednesday. After a goalless draw with Gremio at the weekend, it got even worse for Atletico as goals from Vagner Love (21) and Liedson (56) saw them slip to defeat in Rio. Jo scored in the 50th minute to briefly put Atletico back on terms, but any hopes of a second equaliser were all but ended with the dismissal of captain Rever 17 minutes from the end. Having dropped five points in their last two games, Atletico find themselves four points behind leaders Fluminense. FIFA
