Bayern Munich travel to Bavarian neighbours Augsburg in the last 16 of the DFB-Pokal while holders Borussia Dortmund host fellow Bundesliga side Hannover. The two third division sides left in the competition, Kickers Offenbach and Karlsruhe, face top-flight opposition in Fortuna Dusseldorf and Freiburg respectively while one second division side are guaranteed a place in the quarter-finals after Bochum were drawn against 1860 Munich. The games will take place on 18/19 December before German football takes a four-and-a-half-week winter break. "We would have hoped for a home game to end the year with," said Hannover coach Mirko Slomka. "It will be our 53rd game of the calendar year and we want to try everything to create an upset at the defending champions." Hannover's director of sport Jorg Schmadtke added: "It is a huge challenge to play at the double winners and Dortmund are clearly favourites, but we want to take our chance there." In the other ties, Wolfsburg entertain Bayer Leverkusen, Mainz travel to Schalke and Stuttgart face second division Cologne. FIFA
