A late goal from Benjamin Moukandjo earned Cameroon a narrow win over Guinea-Bissau which takes them through to the third round of qualifying for the 2013 CAF Africa Cup of Nations. The Indomitable Lions, who have won the tournament four times, held a slender 1-0 lead from the opening leg of their second-round qualifier. And Moukandjo's strike ten minutes from time spared their blushes against Guinea-Bissau to wrap up a 2-0 aggregate win. Nigeria beat Rwanda 2-0 in the second leg of their qualifier to advance by the same scoreline on aggregate. Ikechukwu Uche fired home the opener after nine minutes with Ahmed Musa adding another 11 minutes into the second half. Liberia also progressed by the narrowest of margins, grinding out a 0-0 draw to beat Namibia 1-0 on aggregate. There were goals galore in Uganda, though, where the home side ran out 4-0 winners to wrap up a come-from-behind 5-3 aggregate win over Congo. Andy Mwesigwa, Godfrey Walusimbi, Geoff Massa and Emmanuel Okwi all hit the target for Uganda. Malawi overturned a 3-2 first-leg deficit to see off Chad 4-3 on aggregate. Joseph Kamwendo missed a penalty for the home side, but John Banda gave them a 32nd-minute lead before Kamwendo made up for his earlier miss to secure a 2-0 win. Sao Tome and Principe were unable to pull off a shock victory as they fell 5-4 on aggregate to Sierra Leone. The island nation had claimed a surprise 2-1 lead in February's opening leg, but a first-half hat-trick from Alhassan Kamara helped set up a 4-2 victory for Sierra Leone. Cape Verde Islands beat Madagascar 3-1 to win their second-round qualifier 7-1 on aggregate. FIFA .
