Premier League champions Manchester City completed a deal to bring Swansea winger Scott Sinclair to the club. City manager Roberto Mancini has been keen to land Sinclair since the end of last season and the Italian finally got his man after making a new bid of around £6.2m for the former Chelsea player earlier this week. Sinclair could make his debut in Saturday's clash against QPR at Eastlands and, after watching City drawn in the same Champions League group as Spanish giants Real Madrid, the 23-year-old can't wait to get started at his new club. "I'm just glad everything is settled and that I'm now a City player," Sinclair told City's website. "There were times when I thought it might not happen so I'm relieved that I'm here and I can't wait to get started. "Playing alongside some of the best players in the world is exciting for me and when you see two Champions League fixtures against Real Madrid on the horizon, it brings it all home." Sinclair was unable to make the grade at Chelsea and was sent on loan to Plymouth, QPR, Charlton, Crystal Palace, Birmingham and Wigan before emerging as one of England's brightest young stars after moving to Swansea in 2010. He helped the south Wales club win promotion to the Premier League in 2011 and played a key role as they established themselves in the top-flight last season. That impressive form earned Sinclair a call-up to Team GB's Olympic football squad and he made four appearances in the London Games, scoring once. FIFA
